A couple days ago, I posted a story in an "Around the Intarwebz" wrap-up about a "German Shepherd" attacking a smaller dog.
Turns out the dog - who bit both the smaller dog and the dog's owner - is actually a Golden Retriever.
German Shepherd biting dog = sexy. Golden Retriever = not so sexy.

Nope, goldens are perfect.
The one that mauled a friend so badly she almost lost the use of her arm must have been really been a pit bull. Oh, that never made the news, either, anywhere.
The one that used to routinely go after my pittie boy at the dog park must not have really been a golden either. Either that or it was somehow my dog's fault because he has a blocky head.
Goldens are America's sweetheart and they would never do anything bad.
